Durham District School Board proposes to establish the Unnamed West Whitby Maskell Public School boundary for students residing in the West Whitby development neighbourhoods bisected by Taunton Road West with the boundary south of Taunton Road West being the area north of the Canadian Pacific Rail, west of Otter Creek, and east of Lake Ridge Road while north of Taunton Road West, the area south of Ouellette Drive, west of Cochrane Street, and east of Highway 412. The new school is located at Maskell Crescent and Coronation Road.
